Doctor Visit

We went to get an ultrasound and it was awesome! I found out I was 5 weeks and 4 days (on 10/25) and we got to see the heart beat! It was too early to hear it but we will be able to on 11/22. I am super excited.
THE OFFICIAL DUE DATE IS JUNE 23RD!

I have been so tired. I can barely stay awake. I almost fell asleep at work during a meeting. My mom would have been proud if I fell out of the chair, ha!

As of today I am officially 6 weeks and 1 day. I have also felt super nauseous (sp?) all day everyday pretty much. No barfing yet.

My hunger level has changed a little. When i am hungry I MUST EAT THEN AND THERE! I also have had only one instance where i had to get up in the night and eat a cracker or two because I was STARVING!

Dissapointment

I had my doctor appointment today to find out when I was due and to see if I could get an ultrasound.... and it had to be rescheduled :(. It was rescheduled for Wednesday but I may change it to this coming Monday. I wanted to cry. I don't know if it was hormones already or if I just was super sad. It will happen soon enough though. MUST STAY POSITIVE!

We are going to try to start exercising more because i'll need to keep my energy up and try to get as much lean muscle in order to get back to my regular weight after the baby. My sister, Kari, is working out with a TOUGH DVD so we must wish her luck!

We will be taking week by week pictures soon!

Symptoms
Bloated
Tired
Sore boobs!

Food
Spaghetti

Workout

My Sweet Husband

Mr. Bart and Mrs. Renee left today; their visit was nice :) We all had fun.

I should probably get pregnant more often. :) My husband is so sweet. He has been taking care of me already and bought me flowers as well as made me dinner the other day! We had grilled chicken and potatoes. It was yummy!

Today I was sad. I talked to my twin sister and she is really non-responsive to anything. I am afraid she wont be able to experience anything with the baby like she didn't with our wedding. Miss her LOTS.

I also talked to my mom today. She gave me a lot of advice and she told me everyone is really excited. She said my parents loved the names we picked out.
Girl: Abigail Faith or Addison Faith
Boy: Anderson Ryan

Exercise:
We walked for about 20 minutes around the neighborhoods

Symptoms:
They have really decreased. I still have mild cramping and my boobs hurt slightly. The only prominent symptom is the fact I could fall asleep standing up. Man... it sucks.

Food:
I was bad... I had pizza for dinner and chocolate cake for desert. It was yummy though.
Lunch was healthy though! A small amount of pasta with veggies and a side salad.

NO CAFFEINE SO FAR!!
Doctor on WEDNESDAY!

HERE WE GO!

This is the beginning of The Easley Blog; what more appropriate news to post first than the MOST important.

WE ARE PREGNANT!
I took a home pregnancy test (well, 3 to be exact) on 10/9/10 and they came out POSITIVE! Ryan is ecstatic and so am I. He has already sang to my belly several times.... so cute!

Symptoms:
My boobs have been killing me!!! (sorry all the men who are reading)
Mild cramping

I wanted to make sure we document this whole experience so I have already taken pictures of my belly!
I am super nervous that my tattoo will end up being some ugly, weird shape after the baby is born but that is the price you pay for some random idea on your 19th birthday. :)

We called our families and told our close friends the night we found out. There was a bunch of shock all around but once it calmed, everyone was already excited!!

Doctors Appointment:
We are calling the doctor on Tuesday to see if we can come in after work to get a blood and/or pee test administered. I WILL LET YOU KNOW! This is only to confirm everything so we can announce to the world.
Food:
I already feel and obligation to eat better. I felt bad eating the leftover pizza from yesterday.
Exercise:
Ryan is so funny. He has never shown too much interest in walking around the block with me. Today, a different story. He wants me to be healthy and he wants to get in better shape as well. We walked around several different blocks then back home to get a movie that needed to be returned and we proceeded to walk to Kroger's to return it.

OFF TO BED.
Love, The Easley's
